How Does It Work?
Structured
You’ll follow a scheduled series of training sessions that introduce concepts and then give you clear, simple drills to practice movements to learn them.
Progressive
You’ll learn in incremental steps that build systematically on each other to allow you to learn at your own pace rather than being overwhelmed by information and complex movements.
Flexible
You do not need to stick to the schedule as written—you can speed up or slow down as needed at any time. Spend more time on what you need more work on, and move more quickly through what you feel confident with.
App
Access the program right on your phone or tablet through an easy-to-use app.

By The End
You’ll be able to perform the snatch, clean and jerk.
You’ll have a collection of drills to help continue improving your technique and consistency.
You’ll know the fundamentals critical to lifting effectively and safely such as bracing and squatting correctly.
Who is this for?
The Learn The Lifts program is perfect for anyone who wants to learn the Olympic lifts but doesn’t have access to a qualified coach to work with in-person.
It’s completely flexible to be self-paced, so you can learn and practice however works best for you—whether that’s faster or slower than written, or a mix of the two at different times.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to pay a subscription fee?
No—purchase the program one time and you’ll have lifetime access to it along with future updates.
How long is the program?
The complete program is 11 weeks long with 3 training sessions per week. However, sessions can be scheduled any way you need or prefer. You can speed up the process by doing more sessions each week, or slow down by repeating sessions or doing them less frequently.
Can I do this along with my other training?
Yes—this program is intended to be used along with your existing training. It will be minimally demanding because it’s skill learning and practice rather than heavily-loaded lifting. For example, you can do these sessions between your normal training days, or you can even use these sessions as warm-ups for your primary workout.
Will I get coaching from Greg?
No—this program does not include coach feedback.
What do I do after the program?
When you’ve completed the program, you will be ready for some kind of weightlifting training program—what type will depend on how comfortable you are with the lifts and what training experience you have more generally. Greg has created a series of 4 training programs intended to systematically transition you from the Learn the Lifts program to standard training programs, which you can find here.
