Everything about the experience is unmatched…the coaching, the environment, and the lifelong friends made along the way. Highly recommended to everyone, but especially to those like myself who train alone.”

“My wife and I attended Catalyst Camp with Aimee and Greg for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. What could be a better way to celebrate PRing our relationship, than also trying to PR our lifts.
The experience was truly amazing. They were the most gracious and incredible hosts. We are by no means competitive weightlifters, but
we felt welcome and at ease. Not only did we come away better athletes, but we got to enjoy a special weekend in one of the most beautiful places we’ve even been.”
—Jeff B.
"I attended the 2026 September camp with Catalyst. I did not know what to expect but as I really look up to both Greg and Aimee I figured it would be worth it. It ended up
exceeding my expectations in not only the weightlifting knowledge and technique gained; but the community and camaraderie. None of us had met before this week and everyone got a long so well and has kept in touch since. The inclusive and fun environment Aimee and Greg create is a huge reason for that. I will undoubtedly be doing another Catalyst camp and
cannot recommend it enough!”
—Dani G.
“I’ve attended Catalyst training camps multiple times, including when I was a brand-new lifter, and I’ve always felt completely comfortable and welcomed—even while training alongside athletes with far more experience. Greg and Aimee’s coaching is incredible, but what makes the camps truly special is the entire experience. I always leave having learned so much, met amazing people, and already looking forward to coming back.”
—Cathleen M.
“I attended a camp in September 2022 and loved it. After some time off from weightlifting (covid, retirement, moving, etc), I was looking for a kickstart to return to the sport. It did exactly that, and it was awesome. I loved that the programming was such that all levels could participate easily, the facility was absolutely perfect, and the environment was non-threatening and welcoming. I loved that the location was a bit of an adventure to find, and that it was a small group. Overall, I had a
fantastic time training and learning, and it is on my list to do again.”
—Heather E.
“I've now experienced almost all of the types of training camps through Catalyst and I can confirm that it's
as transformational an experience as you might hope. Mine turned out to actually be life-changing and led to me diving headfirst into weightlifting as more than just a hobby. I've made countless friends all over the country, had big group cries, even bigger laughs, and lots of PRs. Aimee and Greg are warm hosts and world-class coaches that are passionate about sharing their knowledge with every type of athlete. Their camps will help your technique in the Olympic lifts, but more importantly they will change the way you think about and approach weightlifting as a whole in the best way possible.”
—Katelyn N.
“I attended camp as a non-weightlifter so my experience was a bit unique! I compete in other strength sports but wanted to try my hand at something new and outside of my comfort zone. I had a wonderful experience. Everyone was welcoming, helpful, and
the hands-on coaching was invaluable. Would recommend to anyone, even beginners!”
—Taylor D.
“It was so much fun! It was great meeting Greg and Aimee. I was part of Aimee’s teams and she always had great instructions online but it was even better in person. They’re both so fun to learn from. But meeting other weightlifters was another highlight. Meeting like-minded individuals that later became friends. Two of the other campers helped me at my first meet. Being around that training environment, great coaches and great training partners, really inspired me to get better.
The camp is for everyone, and I really recommend it!”
—Damien H.
“I had an excellent experience. The coaches were extremely attentive, providing individualized feedback and making sure every athlete got the most out of each session. I was exposed to a lot of new material, training concepts, and coaching approaches that gave me fresh perspectives on my lifting.
"The camp also brought together a great group of athletes with varying backgrounds and experience levels, creating a
motivating and supportive environment. Beyond the training, it was simply a lot of fun: well organized, engaging, and enjoyable from start to finish. The beautiful scenery was an added bonus, making the entire experience even more memorable.
"
I would highly recommend this camp to anyone looking to improve their weightlifting skills, learn from outstanding coaches, and spend time with a great community of athletes.”
—Yigal S.
“Camp was an
incredibly valuable experience for me, and the single biggest highlight was getting real-time feedback from Greg and Aimee. They’re both incredibly knowledgeable coaches, and having them watch me lift and give feedback specific to what they were seeing was something I simply can’t replicate in my normal training. It gave me a much better understanding of my technique and helped me identify things I can continue to work on long after camp.
"I also really enjoyed hearing Greg and Aimee’s perspectives beyond technique—their thoughts on mindset, coaching philosophy, and the sport as a whole.
Their knowledge and passion are contagious. Even through the inevitable frustrating moments of lifting, they have a way of making you appreciate and love the sport even more than you thought you could.
"The other huge highlight was the community. I train mostly by myself and, outside of my remote coach, don’t really have a support system of people who are as passionate about the sport as I am. Getting to spend time with a group of people who understand the excitement, frustration, obsession, and joy that come with lifting was incredibly meaningful. I came for the training, but connecting with that community was just as valuable.
"Ultimately, I left camp not only feeling like a better lifter, but with a greater appreciation for the sport and a group of people I’m really glad I got to meet. It was
absolutely worth the time, effort, and investment.”
—Prakash M.
“Greg and Aimee are easily the most gracious hosts on the planet. Aside from the obvious, getting to lift in what has become one of the most iconic garage gyms on the internet and hanging out with the best gym dogs in the universe,
the atmosphere is completely top-notch.
"When you sit back, you realize you've been invited into the home of two people who arguably care more about weightlifting and have done more for the sport than anyone else in the country. They open up their space, their kindness, and their world-class expertise to help you grow.
The instruction is second to none. Every single day brings new breakthroughs, whether you're working through group technique drills, pushing the limits on a heavy day, or dialing in personalized fixes during a session designed specifically around your individual needs.
"It is literally like going away to summer camp. You arrive a little nervous about stepping up on the platform in front of strangers and putting yourself out there, and before you know it, you’ve made lifelong friends from all over the world who share the exact same passion.
Greg and Aimee treat you like family. The laughs are even more plentiful than the PRs, and they have an incredible way of leveling the playing field so that a day-one beginner feels just as valued and supported as the Olympian you might be sharing a platform with.
"It is worth every penny and every minute.
I cannot recommend it enough to any lifter at any stage of their journey."
—Charles A.
“My experience at Catalyst Athletics Camp was definitely worth the time and investment. I went there as both an athlete and a coach, looking to improve my own weightlifting, but I ended up taking away a lot more than I expected.
"What stood out to me was the
attention to detail and the level of coaching throughout the entire week. It wasn't just about lifting heavier weights, but understanding the movements better, identifying weaknesses, and learning how to actually address them.
"As a coach, my biggest takeaway was learning more about the corrective exercises and technique drills used to fix specific movement issues. Understanding why certain mistakes happen and, more importantly, knowing which drills to use to correct them was extremely valuable. I've already started applying some of what I learned with my own athletes.
"Another thing I really appreciated was how welcoming everyone was. Greg and Amy were amazing, not only because of their knowledge and experience, but because of how
humble, approachable, and genuinely invested they were in everyone there. Sometimes, when you meet coaches who have accomplished so much, you expect a certain level of ego, but that wasn't the case at all. They were always willing to answer questions, explain things, and help everyone improve.
"I also think the seven-day format made a big difference. Having the opportunity to practice, receive feedback, make adjustments, and come back the next day to work on those same things allowed me to get much more out of the experience than I would have from a typical weekend seminar.
"
I'd absolutely recommend this camp to anyone who wants to improve their weightlifting, especially coaches who want to become better at what they do. There's a big difference between knowing how a movement should look and knowing how to help someone actually improve it, and that's something this camp reinforced for me.
"Huge thanks to Greg, Aimee, and everyone at Catalyst for such a great week. I learned a lot, met some great people, and came back with plenty of things to work on, both as an athlete and as a coach.
I'll definitely be back!”
—Demetrius S.
“My husband and I had the privilege (I will absolutely call it a privilege) to train with Greg and Aimee Everett at one of their weekend Catalyst Camps. We are not in a financial position to take vacations but when an opportunity came up for us to be a part of the Catalyst Camp, we jumped on it and quite frankly, feel that this was likely
better than any vacation we could ever put together for ourselves. The instruction, coaching and guidance on lifts could not be any more professionally communicated. The ability to work with a seasoned athlete like my husband and a somewhat beginning Olympic Lifter such as myself was pretty amazing. The care and attention to the differences between our skill levels was definitely considered carefully and appropriately managed. We both walked away feeling much better about our lifts.
"As far as the non-Olympic Lifting part of the weekend: it is not wasted on us that the group assembled appeared to be
really good humans with excellent attitudes and a passion for learning and being coached. It was great to be in an environment of mutual respect no matter what level the attendee was at and the camaraderie from other attendees towards each other - was
nothing short of magical. We enjoyed everything about those other attendees and could not have picked a better group to have just met and spend a weekend with.
"The program is well designed, well thought out and artfully managed. There was ample time for warm-ups, drills, technique assessment and practice. The entire weekend felt incredibly ’special’. The connection that the Everetts quickly make to their guests is pretty amazing given most of us were there for the first time and just met. They were familiar while being professional, warm without being fake and just amazing to be around.
"We would absolutely love to make another trip out to Catalyst Camp in the future and honestly tell everyone who wants to get better at lifting and immerse themselves in a few days of excellent, professional coaching with two coaches who deserve nothing but accolades - to treat themselves to camp. There isn’t anything that could be better or done differently and is
worth every second and penny.”
